eating candy

Have been listening to the last chapters of Queen of the damned, and saw some episodes of "Mysteries at the museum". Nerdy evening (as always?)! And I love it.

Mehehe

Mysteries at the Museum

Found a new tvprogram today, think it seems pretty good. Checking out the first episode right now:

I have been kinda busy the past days

I have been working all day long! Feels good. And when I haven't been working, I have been walking with Zeke. We walked for two hours this evening. It's so relaxing.. So now a movie and bed will be most welcomed.

Picture overload - Zeke's new love Nova

The yellow amstaff girl became a favourite for Zeke. He really liked playing with her. Made me so happy that we could invite a completely new dog without any problem. So all and all we had four dogs running around yesterday. Swimming and playing. It was a good day! (And sorry for the total dog pic overload here, but I couldn't stop myself)

Today

So sad..

The Earth Prelude by Ludovico Einaudi on Grooveshark

very pleased

Sweet.

Good one

clip from yesterday - walking around in the forest

I love this picture.. It is brutal.

Oldies

Olber's Paradox

This is by far, one of the best papers there is. "illustrated science"
always get me thinking and always questioning why things are the way they are.

What really caught my attention this time were one of the questions that readers get to send to the paper and ask themselves: "Why is the nightsky dark?" I have NEVER been thinking about this. But as the reader claims, since the universe is filled with stars, shouldn't it be a bright sky we see, even at night?
Shouldn't it be enough stars close by to light it all up? And the fact that this has tormented the physicists for almost 500 years.. It fascinates me.

upplyst? Utan totalt mörk under natten.

The gif below shows the problematic with Olber's Paradox:
