Whyyyy? I wish I could sleep...

I got stuck on youtube with lots of weird and interesting small documentaries. There were all kinds of stuff.. About Slab city, (a city apperantly without laws in USA), an interview with a cannibal, transsexual muslims and a heartbreaking one about a man who lived in complete isolation for 40 years. Think I might post some of it here (if not ALL of it, since there were so randomly weird things that I really enjoyed). It seems like I have too many things I'd like to post. I must have things for at least a lifetime..? People probably must think I should get a life after such a statement, haha. But this is after all what I love to do. Finding knowledge about things that really doesn't matter. It isn't gonna improve my life, it's not going to make me famous or rich. It is simply cause I enjoy it. I crave it. The diffrent storys of people or creatures.

Aww this makes me miss you so bad

The Aokigahara forest - the suicide forest in Japan

The Aokigahara Forest is the most popular site for suicides in Japan. After the novel Kuroi Jukai was published, in which a young lover commits suicide in the forest, people started taking their own lives there at a rate of 50 to 100 deaths a year. The site holds so many bodies that the Yakuza pays homeless people to sneak into the forest and rob the corpses. The authorities sweep for bodies only on an annual basis, as the forest sits at the base of Mt. Fuji and is too dense to patrol more frequently.

The Badger Kitty might be mine after all!

YES finally some luck! The woman with the cats contacted me tonight and said they had one cat left. A family who were interested in one of them changed their mind, since it was a far travel for them to go. SO, she contacted me next to see if I still wanted a kitten. She had got over a hundred mails and lots of phone calls about the cats, and that made it take so long. Lucky lucky me to be the one she contacts.

But, I'm not going to celebrate in advance.. I'm just so happy. THIS WAS FATE (yea, I'm not celebrating in advance.. Not at all)

Aint he the sweetest? I think Zeke will love him...

Who are the real killers?

I found it so weird that everytime someone gets killed by a shark, or even bitten it has to be brought up! As if  it's surprising? A shark is a predator. And people always bite back with comments like "So are we" Yea? So you compare yourself to a shark? Do you think they rationalizes like we do? AND now to the big question. Isn't death a part of life? Isn't death meant to happen every now and then - even to us humans? It seems as it's the worst thing. But actually, if no one died? It wouldn't be food enough or space for everyone. Sure it's sad losing someone dear to you. But that is how it works. It's natures way of keeping some sort of balance.

I don't think it's balance, when people fish so much sharks for their fins, that they almost get extinct. To take a shark, cut of the fin and throw it back in the ocean were it slowly dies. Don't we know better by now?

Humans have increased with about 6 millions during the last 200 years. THAT is what I'm afraid of. I would gladly die if some sort of plague or black death came once more to kill 2/3 of mankind. Cause, it would be best for the world. Even for the humans themselves if you think about the future. It sounds harsh. But look at the world as it is. As it REALLY is now. It would do fine without so many of us. Hopefully people will understand before it's too late. I don't say that people should start making humansoup instead of sharksoup! But I would like people to understand. I would like people to get smaller families, less babies = less mouths to feed. And that in itself would reduce unnecessary suffering for everyone. People wouldn't starve as much. Animals wouldn't be bred up in factorys trying desperately to produce the largest amount of meat they can. Well, I could go on. But the truth is, that the benefits of a reducing in mankind only has a positive development. I hope someone agree with me about this.

I AM sad..

Yea, I said before that I looked sad. Well.. now I am.. I really really tried so hard to get one of these very special cats. And when all was done, and all seemed solved (finally much thanks to Alex who where going to help me out). I tryed to call the owners -no respons. The kittens are gone :( And they looked like badgers! I will probably never find kittens like that again.

Puppy-eyes - hahah I look so sad.. even the dog looks happier

Einstein's Riddle

I've developed a strong admiration for Albert Einstein lately
(even bought a t-shirt with a quote from the man).
He seemed to view the world so lightly and yet so complex.
He saw it in all it's layers. In documentaries he is presented
as an ironic guy. Laughing at himself and saying
 things I truly agree with.

A while ago my brother presented Einstein's Riddle to me.
I got obsessed with it. Needed to solve it, kinda to prove
someting to myself. And to challange my own intelligence.
Since, mr Einstein is known for that  specific talent.
To my suprise I solved it after about three hours. Stunned!
Cause I'm really crappy with these sort of things.
(I even EVEN got proof that I solved it totally on my own,
without peeking! And I have saved the scraps IN CASE
some one would question me haha) Alex solved it even
faster then me (buhuu) But I'm really not suprised at all.
I'd like to post Einstein's Riddle here and see if anyone
else would like to give it a try. I'd also like to see your
results, if anyone dare mail them to me! Would be fun.

Einstein's Riddle!
There are 5 houses in 5 different colors. In each house lives a person with a different nationality. The 5 owners drink a certain type of beverage, smoke a certain brand of cigar, and keep a certain pet. No owners have the same pet, smoke the same brand of cigar, or drink the same beverage. The question is: Who owns the fish?

Hints:

  • The Brit lives in the red house.
  • The Swede keeps dogs as pets.
  • The Dane drinks tea.
  • The green house is on the left of the white house.
  • The green homeowner drinks coffee.
  • The person who smokes Pall Mall rears birds.
  • The owner of the yellow house smokes Dunhill.
  • The man living in the center house drinks milk.
  • The Norwegian lives in the first house.
  • The man who smokes Blend lives next to the one who keeps cats.
  • The man who keeps the horse lives next to the man who smokes Dunhill.
  • The owner who smokes Bluemaster drinks beer.
  • The German smokes prince.
  • The Norwegian lives next to the blue house.
  • The man who smokes Blend has a neighbor who drinks water.

Einstein wrote this riddle early during the 19th century. He said 98% of the world could not solve it. Its not hard, you just need to pay attention and be patient.
